In this issue, Dani Carey introduces us to three amazing
celebrity treatments you can experience yourself.
Madonna's facial
If you're looking for something that will
give you a glowing and rehydrated face
in only one treatment, check out the facial
Madonna swears by. Madonna has an
O2 Intraceuticals Rejuvenation Infusion
facial machine in each of her homes, and
is said to use it every day. Eva Longoria
has been quoted as saying, "The treatments
are a necessity before every major event."
The treatment takes 30 minutes and really
does leave your skin looking firmer, fuller
and more nourished. An airbrush-like wand
hovers just above your face, releasing pure
oxygen and nourishing the serums deep
into your skin. The serums used have a base
of hyaluronic acid, vitamins A, C and E, and
green tea. The serums combined with the
oxygen technology stimulate generation of
new cells, elastin and collagen production
supplements and plumps the skin surface
to visibly reduce the appearance of fine
lines and wrinkles. Although six treatments
are recommended for long-lasting effects,
one treatment would be a great lift for a
special occasion.

Sting's day spa
Of Aurora Spa Retreat in St Kilda, Melbourne,
Sting is quoted as saying, "I've never been
more relaxed" and we can't agree more!
Aurora boasts The Kitya Karnu Signature
Treatment, its most popular treatment to
nourish and hydrate the body. The treatment
has been enjoyed by the likes of Rachel
Griffiths, Deborah Hutton and Ron Moss
from The Bold and the Beautiful, and it
can only be described as pure bliss. While
you lie in the steam room, an application of
your chosen essential oil blend is applied to
your entire body, followed by a Himalayan
salt exfoliation and placement of cool
river stones over the meridian lines of the
body. The treatment continues with a facial
cleanse and hydration mask and ends with
a hair treatment, scalp massage and a
refreshing seasonal hydrating mist sprayed
over the body. Other than sending your
body into total relaxation, rendering speech
a little difficult, the treatment also boosts
circulation and stimulates and hydrates your
entire body. Then you just float out of the
spa and back into your car.

Robbie's workout
If you love the idea of fat and cellulite
reduction with minimal effort, Hypoxi is
for you. Robbie Williams swears by the
Hypoxi machine he uses to keep those abs
of his in great shape. The treatment works
by combining exercise (the L250 model uses
pedal power; Robbie's Vacunaut is a running-
based machine) with vacuum technology.
Essentially, you lie in a space-age capsule,
where you run on a reclining treadmill or,
in my case, pedal on a reclining bicycle for
30 minutes. As you pedal, you feel varying
levels of vacuum compression. The treatment
causes increased blood flow that stimulates
circulation and fat metabolism. Fat burns more
readily in areas of good circulation, giving you
rapid results. So, how did I go? The fact that I
was exercising three times a week was terrific
in itself. I am also fairly slim, so my results
were never going to be extreme, but I was
pleased to see marked improvement in my skin
tone, a 2kg weight loss and a total of 20cm lost
from my hips, thighs and bottom. Not bad for
time spent catching up on gossip magazines!
