In its third year, The Light in Winter is Fed-
eration Square's annual winter festival and
celebration of community life for Melbourne
centred around light. Local and international
artists and communities come together each
year to create light objects and events to
enlighten the city and warm its seasonally
chilled heart. This coming month, Federation
Square will glow with a light that is a must
for locals and visitors alike.

Daniel Merriweather
Love & War
It has been three long years since Daniel Merriweather
swapped the streets of Melbourne for the bustle of
downtown NYC. A few of you may know Daniel as
the emotive voice on his producer Mark Ronson's
chart-busting cover of The Smiths `Stop Me'. Love &
War is every bit the classic debut one would have
hoped, and is a long, long way from busking on a
street corner in Melbourne, just to earn a buck.

Savage
Savage Island
Kiwi Savage's breakthrough international placement
in hit US comedy "Knocked Up" turned this local
hero into an overnight star in America. "Swing" was
placed in the block buster movie that let the rest of
the world know that Savage is a platinum star, a big
man with a big voice and even bigger talent. Savage
made the choice to put his unique culture at the
forefront of this albums look and sound.

out. This is Eminem's fi rst original studio album in
over four years. Anticipation for Relapse has been
building since late 2008, when Eminem fi rst
announced the album title and debuted the freestyle,
"I'm Having A Relapse," during an interview. Eminem
