From the only writer to have four plays running in London's West End
at the same time comes The Cripple of Inishmaan, a grandly comic
tale in the great tradition of Irish storytelling. Martin McDonagh fulfils
the promise of this award-winning The Beauty Queen of Leenane,
while confirming his place in a tradition that extends from Synge to
O'Casey and Brendan Behan. The Cripple of Inishmaan is filled with
a cast of extraordinary characters and unexpected plot twists that
promise to take you on a hilarious yet poignant journey of discovery
and hope. Set in a remote island off Ireland's west coast in 1934 dur-
ing the Great Depression, news reaches the isolated community of
Inishmaan that Hollywood director Robert Flahertty is coming to the
neighbouring island of Inishmore to film Man of Aran. The one person
who wants to be in the film more than anybody is Cripple Billy, who is
determined to cross the sea and audition for the Yank.

Film soundtrack
Mamma Mia
If you've seen the movie and you want to keep
enjoying the experience, here's the soundtrack.
Meryl Streep sings up a storm in many tracks
including Mamma Mia and When All is Said and
Done with Pierce Brosnan. The duo are then joined
by Colin Firth [amongst others] for Our Last
Summer. It's a feel good album that will have you
singing along.
The Living End
White Noise
It's been 10 years since The Living End recorded its
breakout double A-side single, `Second Solution'/
`Prisoner of Society' with many hit songs and satisfied
punters in between. `White Noise' offers a spirited take
on the band's trademark sound, and helps build a bridge
between the old sound and new. With solid rhythms and
steady tempos throughout each track showcases
different aspects of the remodeled The Living End sound.
Sam Sparro
Sam Sparro
With a big and beautiful scale-defying vocal that
dips from bold and beautiful to low, sultry and slow,
this guy has serious soul. Sam has also more than
mastered the art of melody and knows a killer chorus
when he hears one. Just listen to the sublime new
single `Black and Gold' to see for yourself. Sam
Sparro is undoubtedly about to strike gold. Make
sure you're there before the rush.
